You can add Cannatrak to your iPhone home screen so it opens like a native app — no App Store needed.
Note: Must use Safari on iOS — Chrome on iPhone does not support Add to Home Screen in the same way.
On Android, you may also see a pop-up inside the app itself with an Install App button — tap that for the quickest install.

After the first load, Cannatrak works completely offline. Your data is stored on your device — no internet connection is needed to log entries, view your history, or generate reports.
You only need a connection for the initial load and to unlock Pro (which verifies your licence key).
No account needed. Cannatrak has no login, no sign-up, and no cloud. Open the app, complete the 3-step setup, and start logging immediately.
For Pro users, your licence key is your only credential — keep it safe in your Gumroad receipt email.
Cannatrak is a medical cannabis wellness tracker built by a Medicann patient, for medical patients. It lets you log your prescription use and track the effects on your conditions — sleep, pain, glucose, anxiety, migraines and more.
It's not a generic health app with a cannabis label on it. Every tracker is designed around specific medical conditions, and the data you collect can be exported as a clinic report to share with your prescriber.

When you first open Cannatrak, demo data is pre-loaded so you can explore all the trackers and charts without entering any real data first. All entries are fictional and dated in the past.
When you're ready to start logging your own data:

Your data is stored in your browser's localStorage, which means it is tied to that specific browser on that specific device. If you:
Pro users: Use the CSV or JSON export regularly to back up your data. You can import it into a spreadsheet or re-reference it at any time.
We recommend exporting a backup at least once a month from the Data tab.
Yes — but each device will have its own separate data. There is no cloud sync between devices. Each instance of the app is completely independent.
If you want to use Cannatrak on both your phone and tablet, you'll need to log entries on each device separately. We're considering cloud sync as a future feature.
The Clinic Report generates a print-ready PDF summarising your last 30 days of data across all active trackers. It includes:

No. Cannatrak is a personal logging tool only. Nothing in the app constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.
Always follow the guidance of your prescriber, GP, or relevant healthcare professional. Do not adjust your cannabis prescription or any other medication based solely on data recorded in this app.

Health data you log in the app: All tracking data you enter (cannabis logs, sleep, pain, glucose, anxiety, journal entries etc.) is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage on your device. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
Email address: If you sign up via our landing page email form, we collect your email address to send product updates and release notes. We use Formspree to process this form. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Licence key: When you activate a Pro licence, the key is sent to Gumroad's API for verification. We do not store your licence key beyond your local device.
Website analytics: We use Google Analytics on cannatrak.co.uk to understand page visits and usage patterns. This collects anonymised data including pages visited, device type, and general location. No health data is ever shared with Google Analytics.

Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. App data on your device is retained until you clear it yourself or clear your browser data.

By accessing or using Cannatrak ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Cannatrak is intended for use by adults (18+) in the United Kingdom who hold a valid medical cannabis prescription. You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction regarding medical cannabis.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. This licence does not include the right to:

Purchase of a Pro licence grants a single individual the right to use Pro features for personal use. Pro licences are non-transferable. We reserve the right to revoke a licence found to be used fraudulently or in breach of these terms.
Pro purchases are processed by Gumroad. Refund requests should be directed to hello@thepoundtip.co.uk within 14 days of purchase.
All content, design, code, branding, and materials in Cannatrak are the intellectual property of PoundTip and are protected by copyright law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
The App is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for your particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PoundTip shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or health outcomes. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your licence.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
